Its almost here

Well its starting to get very close to our Latte Art comp at the Hospitality Expo to be held on Tuesday the 23rd March at the MECC. Last month unfortunately there as a fairly poor turn out with only the few hard core coffee nuts showing their faces at Cafe LA DE DA so we didn't have our usual comp but just practiced our techniques and swapped styles. So we are really after some committed Baristi at our next Jam that is on Tuesday 2nd Feburary from 5:30pm to approx 7pm.

If you have any interest in winning a trip to Sydney later in the year to compete in the Pura Milk latte art comp than now is the time to start practicing with some very committed coffee people from the region to assist you in achieving your goal. If you haven't been to the Mackay Hospitality Expo it is a fantastic day and one not to be missed with some fantastic exhibitions and some amazing competitions from latte art to cocktails. Later in the year we are also looking at having a display at the Mackay Food & Wine festival so there is even more reason to get your skills to a very high level to show the local community what Mackay baristi are capable of.
